There are websites set up by enthusiasts for most types of animal and even for particular breeds and you can often get answers to your questions from experts. Sites run by the well known animal charities are another source of information.
If you are having difficulties, most areas will have animal behaviourists who can help and, of course, don't forget your local vet.
